Title: ARSXML
Post by: jeffs42885 on May 09, 2014, 11:33:12 AM
Just wondering if anyone has a sample they can proovide and a listing of what field names do what, say for example I need to uncheck a box on 4000 applicaton groups. I would rather use ARSXML than go through the db

Jeff - I don't have a short answer to your question.

The longer answer is I think I heard a co-worker say what he did was arsxml export an application group, and use that as a template to figure out the fields.

Jeff,

The definitions for the XML object can be found in

Administering > Administrator's Guide for Multiplatforms > Objects and data model used in the OnDemand XML file

IBM Content Manager OnDemand, Version 8.5.+

Hope this is what you are looking for.

Jeff,

Sorry, to put the URL for the manual that I am referring to.

http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/cmod/v8r5m0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.ondemand.doc%2Fic-homepage.html

Goto Administering book
then choose Administrator's Guide for Multiplatforms
then choose Objects and data model used in the OnDemand XML file

You need to use the 'arsxml update' command.
I have not done this myself but I just started to do a POC on arsxml.
