Anyone know if the new 9.5 ODF Monitor is compatible with an 8.5 Server (z/OS)?

Not compatible.

The ODF component is only compatible with V9.5.

The *administrative* capability of the 9.5 Admin client works for 9.0 and 8.5.

It's the monitor function which does not work below 9.5.
