Title: Cache to TSM
Post by: mani on November 12, 2014, 04:00:25 PM
Hi,

It could be a silly question. I have an app group defined to load the documents and resources to Cache for 90 days (the storage set points to TSM though) and set to never expire. In Advanced options, the migration is set to "When data is loaded"

We are on CMOD 8.4.1.6 running on Sun 5.10 using DB2 9.5.5.

question is:

If I have to set the app group to "No cache" now, should I do just change the storage management configuration accordingly in AG and CMOD will automatically ensure that the document is viewed in the client without any trouble for historical as well as live feeds.

ARSMAINT appears to be running everyday in my server for expiring and migrating from cache to TSM with a threshold of 80%. I can see this under the system log. However, is there any other way of verifying this. Since this is a PROD box.

The idea of not loading to cache is to ensure that the high volume monthend feeds are not failing due to low disk storage for cache.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers
Mani
