Hi,
Our CMOD Version : 8.4. TSM 5.4.3
I get a below Error while trying to Start the ONDemand CMOD Instance
Unable to load module >/opt/ondemand/bin/exits/arssmtsm<. rc=89 Srvr->XXX<-
Could you please help and let me know the real cause of this Error and the Error Code 89.
Thanks
Mohd YOusuf gani
You haven't mentioned which OS you're on, and some error numbers are OS specific. In recent versions of Linux, 89 is defined as "Destination Address Required".
Look at your ars.cfg and TSM configuration files (dsm.sys / dsm.opt).
Also, your CMOD & TSM versions are nearly a decade old. If you aren't upgrading RIGHT NOW, you should be!

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your support...
Our OS is SUNOS(SunOS 5.10 Generic_137111-07 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V240)
We are currently doing the Migration of CMOD from 8.4 to 9.5 and TSM 5.4 to 7.1, we are in the Testing to rebuild the development Environemnt that where we with old version and got these error with the Outdated Product.
IF you could help with this Specific returnm Code of 89 from ARSSOCKD will help us. We even checked the Env var for DSM and PATH which were poiting to the Current Location.
One thing we dont find it is the 'gsk' link under /usr/bin which is required for starting the CMOD with TSM?
Please do the needful help.
As per justin suggestion, look into ars.cfg and see files associated with TSM settings.

Thanks a lot for all your Support..
The Error Got Fixed as the Exist Routine (arssmtsm) as per the Sysytem Log was not properly loaded from the LDD (Library).
Once the Library is fixed CMOD to TSM Connectivity happeded without any problem...
