Title: Deletion of documents with Document based retention.
Post by: pankaj.puranik on January 21, 2015, 03:06:13 PM
Hi

I have a peculiar case here that I need suggestions on.

We have an application group that has a "Document" based retention.
The other options available in application group are "Load" and "Segment". Just mentioned this so that you understand what I am talking about.

Now the documents are loaded into this application group via ODWEK API route.
This means that no Load ID is generated while loading a document into CMOD.

The question is, how can I delete such a document from CMOD before the retention period ends.
We are using CMOD version 9.0 and ODWEK 8.5.X.

Thanks
Pankaj.

Hi PanKai,

I have a similar application with Document as load type.  arsdoc delete worked for me.

Hope this helps.

arsdoc delete wouls only delete the indexes. The document would be sitting in the object server as an orphan object. My requirement is to delete the document as well.
see the following thread for you reference.
