Title: ICN Manuals and DB2 Applications
Post by: CMODWiz on June 30, 2015, 07:47:11 PM
Hi Folks,

ICN is the IBM Content Navigator.

Where are IBM's manuals for ICN ?  What is their serial number, e.g. GCxx-yyyy-zz.

ICN provides a web-ified Search engine against CMOD folders.

IBM says ICN is their "out of the box" solution.

If so, then does that mean there are no ICN manuals available?

Is ICN part of ODWEK?  Does ODWEK documentation contain ICN documentation?

We want to find out:  What DB2 applications are used by ICN when building a Search .

This would enable us to learn the internal logic of the ICN.  It may help us to predict and tune execution characteristics.

Thanks.

Hello

The following link gives you access to all the IBM Content Navigator documentation including the PDF versions of some of the documentation.

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27041953

IBM Content Navigator is included as part of the CMOD license but is actually a unified platform that is used across the IBM Enterprise Content Management portfolio to provide web and mobile access to content.  IBM Content Navigator uses ODWEK to connect to your CMOD repository.

Hope this helps
