Title: datatype=None in the application
Post by: subramani on June 07, 2016, 02:21:25 PM
Hi,

Is there a way to retrieve the documents (using arsdoc get)archived under an application group whose application has datatype =None in the view information tab.

This setup was done few years back and there are .msg files uploaded in it with datatype=None in view information of application. Now, there is a requirement to have these documents open via outlook. so, looking for an option to extract and reload into a new application with user defined .msg datatype.

CMOD  V 9.5.0.2 server on Linux 6.4, DB2 V 10.0.5

thanks

I'll be honest -- I didn't even know this was an option -- and now I know why, from the online help:

QuoteNone and OD Defined are special data types, reserved for OnDemand system applications.

So, someone has done something that's not strictly correct.

I'm not sure how arsdoc will handle this -- have you tried it?  What were the results?
