Title: Installing ODWEK
Post by: pankaj.puranik on September 23, 2010, 06:43:25 AM
Hi

I want to develop my own web application using ODWEK APIs.

What are the prerequisites for the infrastructure?
As far as I understand, I have to first install ODWEK on the server.
Then add the ODWEK jar file and some DLLs to my library.

What else?

Thanks
Pankaj.

Hello Pankaj,

normally you don't need anything else, except a CMOD server somewhere to connect to! :-D

You can have a look at this excellent redbook:

Best regards,

Web application development with ODWEK is very similar to any other web application developement say with any database as backend. Like databases requires drivers, communicating to CMOD requires ODWEK. Nothing more.
