Title: Error ODWEK CGI 8.5

Hi all,

For get the following error when I test cgi odwek:

[Wed Mar 14 12:39:56 2012] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Premature end of script headers: arswww.cgi, referer: http://localhost/logon.htm

I'm using odwek 8.5 and 8.5 cmod

That's a very common web server error message.

It sounds like your program doesn't have permissions (either from the operating system or web server software) to be executed.

Hi Justin,

I gave all permissions but does not work, install the odwek 8.4.1.7 and now if it worked .... thank you very much

Jose - did you get this problem resolved?

I've seen this a couple times.

1) clear the cache in the browser (yes, it was that easy to resolve)

2) If this is an AIX server - what is your ulimit setting?

Hello Jose,

You installed odwek 8.4.1.7 and it works?

Well, you know ODWEK is a quite touchy piece of software. You must always install it, when you want to use one component. You must have the full installation even if you use only the cgi part.

You cannot install it in that server, copy the cgi in a remote location, and make it work there... it will never work.
And unfortunately ODWEK is for the moment only installed (and IBM supported) in its fix location.

Sad but true... :-/
