Loading document pages that have redundant headers and trailers

I need input and advice for loading multi page documents that have redundant graphics on each page.  We want to load the first page with the graphics (Headers and Trailers) and then load the remaining pages with the graphics removed.

Thanks,

Russell

I think I should be asking does anyone use PDF Indexer to remove data from documents before loading.

Thanks,

Seeing as how we have always been a service provider and did not actually own any of the data, we did not alter it in any ways. The only "Altering" I guess you could consider is that we used afp2pdf/xenos to add psgs, frms, imgs, etc..to afp files. Never came across this with PDF but I would imagine if it were possible it would only be doable in version 9.0+?

One example of how we did this for Xerox jobs after they came out of XT is we were able to remove trailer pages generated by the sending system (mostly omni) and also other junk pages such as "NO FORMS TO REPORT" or "NO PLAN ACTIVITY" or annoying header pages that contain mostly *******************

CMOD 8.5 MP's arsload program only keeps one copy of the graphic per load file.

We saw saved file sizes reduced by nearly a factor of 40 in loading from CMOD 8.4 to CMOD 8.5 due to this processing change.
