doc_name with dollar sign

Hi all,

I am sure someone has asked this question before, but I could not find it in this forum.

Under what situation(s) that a doc_name will have a dollar sign ($) at the end?

Hello

that's only the case, when you have a document which is "Large Object".
If your application says, you have "Large Object" activated, but your document is not large enough, then you won't have the $ at the end.
If the document is large enough to be "large object", then the doc_name will have the $ at the end

I realize that when my document has a "large number of pages", then it has a $ sign at the end.

And just to clarify, the fact that a doc_name has a "$" at the end doesn't mean you should look for a file with a $ in the cache or TSM.  It's simply an indicator as to how the document should be read in order to deliver the individual document pieces to end users.
