Change robotics : Impact over tape volsers in CMOD ?

we are studying an alternative to our robotics system.
If we need to change tape volsers for the new equipments, how can we make CMOD knows this change of volser for existing OAM archives ?

Is there an utility to do this ?

I believe this is really an OAM question. 

CMOD doesn't track tape volsers anywhere.
