Ok, I know this topic is extremely old but... I am facing the exact same issue using CMOD v9.0.0.1 and wonder if anyone knows if the fix for it ever made it past the patch level and into release 9.0.0.1?  Normally I would open a ticket with IBM but my customer is not currently paying for support plus v9.0.0.1 is way out of support.... Yah........

Hmmm - just a guess but it looks like 8.5.0.5 came out in 2012/05/11.

And what we're talking about is something on top of (newer than) 8.5.0.5?

9.0.0.1 came out in 2013-02-05 so one would think it would be in there.

Taking a look at the V9.0 readme...

https://cmod.wiki/dox/CMOD-v9.0-README.txt

...is there an APAR number associated with this hotfix?

Hmmmm - from the 9.0 readme:

2.2.9.0.0.5) Release (9.0.0.5)
           ...
PI10297 - Arsload can crash when indexing PDF files larger than 150MB

Ha!  I'm glad that the old READMEs are still useful!

Yeah, there's no reason not to move all the way to CMOD Fixpack v9.0.0.13 - compatibility should be maintained across clients / utilities / ODWEK.
