APS989I error message

Hi,

Happy new year for all !

On Z/OS, I obtain an error message  APS989I   during the process by MVS Download of a large file.  This APS989I reports a RC=1  & ERRNO=32   codes.

I can get the true explanation in the SC31-7187 "IBM TCP/IP for MVS Programming Interface Reference" (equals of the wellknown errno.h file, but with more explanations I hope ..... .)
The 32 seems like ' EPIPE " error ::)  But this SC31-7187 is'nt free  >:(  even for IBM's personnals  ;D  ;D  ;D

Where can I find this SC31-7187 (just the RC & ERRNO ) ?

Best thanks for any responses.

Stephane -

1) please submit a feedback saying that that is a no longer valid publication

2) I found it out here:

Unfortunately, it's in BOOKMGR format and you'll need to download the bookmgr reader if you don't already have a copy.

Instructions on getting the reader are here:

Ed, thanks a lot for your answer.

I've  finally discovered the mistake :
For our CMOD 8.3 (7.1.2.0  :-\ ) and the associated Z/OS printer 8.3 MVS Dowload, the mistake comes from the 2Go.
Under the 2Go move is ok ; upper the mvs dowload abends with the reported error.

I'm waiting for our next 8.5 upgrade to see if the problem is stopped.

If you don't go to upgrade 8.5, at least put some updates (fix packs) on your installation.

It is really not good to keep a "0" version without fixpacks !!! and the latest version for the 7.1.2 is the 7.1.2.15, with a lot of really useful/needed corrections.

Just check the release note of 7.1.2.15 : ftp://service.software.ibm.com/software/ondemand/fixes/v712/7.1.2.15/readme.txt

Sincerely yours,
Alessandro
