Running into OAM error RC08 40060303 when deleting Application Group

the CMoD Admin is  trying to delete an Application Group that is empty.  Keeps getting RC08 from OAM with 40060303 which says

SREQ DELETE: Deletion is not allowed because the object is under retention-protection and the objects retention date has not yet been reached.

Not sure why OAM is doing this?  Is there a process that is used to delete AG that are empty?

Thank you

Lizette

I've learned to trust OAM messages.  If it's telling you there is still an object out there for the application group then there likely still is.  This can happen for a number of reasons: OSMC not run/errors, ARSEXOAM not run/errors,...   Generally speaking deleting empty application groups shouldn't be difficult.  I would try to track down the what/why an object is still out there when you believe the AG should be empty.

I've seen this happen on Multiplatforms when the CMOD Application Group expiration type is set to Document or Segment, because CMOD's arsmaint utility doesn't issue the delete to the storage manager.  Only the expiration type of 'Load' sends a 'delete' command to the storage manager.
