WEBi 1.0.4.5 blank viewer

Windosw7, IE9, Java 1.7 - when attempting to view 'Line Data document' the viewer is blank

My blank viewer problem, was related to now being prompted to update Java. It appears starting with update 17, The Java runtime introduced a feature to consider itself old and out of date as of 05/16/2013. It is essentially a built in expiration.  So that means our users on version 17 have started to receive this prompt.  There doesn't seem to be easy way to suppress. Once a tested version of java is pushed to our users, we don't want them upgrading there java. How do you stop Java from wanting to update itself?
