Hi,

we are using the below arsdoc command to retrieve the documents from OD.

/opt/ondemand/bin/arsdoc query -u admin -p xxxxxx -h xxxxxxxx -f F106B002 -i "where ENTITY_ID = 89010000000" -o /tmp/output_F106B002.txt -v

Here is the error message:

01/09/15 04:09:25: Starting arsdoc.  Version:  8.4.0.2

01/09/15 04:09:25: /opt/ondemand/bin/arsdoc query -u admin -h xxxxxxxxx -f F106B002 -i where ENTITY_ID = 890118763124 -o /tmp/output_F106B002.txt -v

01/09/15 04:09:25: Attempting login for userid 'admin' on server 'xxxxxxxxx' ...

01/09/15 04:09:25: Login unsuccessful

01/09/15 04:09:25: Connection cannot be established for the xxxxxxxxx server

01/09/15 04:09:25: arsdoc completed.

No detailed error message is available here to check why the connection is failing.  Is there anyway i can check the issue log for this command..

I am able to login to client using the given userid and password.

Well, start with the basics -- what does the System Log say?  Is your server configured for case sensitivity?  Are the client & server at compatible versions/platforms?  Are you running arsdoc on the server, or a different machine on the network?  If so, is there a firewall between those two systems?

I would also suggest to look deeper at the -h xxxxxxxx  I've seen this simple mistake made many times.  Make sure it matches up with the instance name in your ars.ini file, it not it will treat it as a host name
