IBM Certified Solution Expert CMOD multiplatform

Hi

I want to be a certified solution expert for CMOD.
Can someone point to the recommended material for preparation.

I also want to know about the syllabus for this exam.
On IBM website, I couldn't find any certification for CMOD multiplatform.

There really isn't a study guide -- just make sure you review the manuals, and understand the relationships between Storage Sets/AG/App/Folder/Groups, etc.

I'm not sure if the certification exam has been updated for 8.5 yet, so I'd focus on 7.2.1.x and 8.4.x.

After nearly 10 years of working with CMOD, I've finally made the Certification at the beginning of this year (would be a shame to be a CMOD specialist at IBM without Certification, isn't it!!)

So if you understand the official manuals, know ODWEK (not at the deep API level!), know the relationship from CMOD and other IBM products (CM/FileNet/TSM/...).
Know a bit about the Indexer (ACIF, PDF, ...)
How the admin works (cache, migration, Cabinets, Holds, Printer, ...etc...)
the CMOD configuration (ars.ini, ars.cfg, ...)

Well everything in the manual. If you know it, or at least do a refresh...

I think that since you have already knowledge and experience from CMOD, then by reading the whole set of manual for a refresh, you'll have nothing to fear.

One more on this, In the IBM website, I don't see any certification test code for CMOD Multiplatform.
Any idea??

I believe it's available worldwide.

If you get the chance to go to the IOD 2011 Conference, you'll have the opportunity to take many certification tests.

To pass the exam you must go to the prometric website:

http://prometric.com/IBM/default.htm

And there you will be able to find your country with all authorized certification center.

(just for your info, if you go to check the certification on the IBM website (http://www-03.ibm.com/certify/certs/27001002.shtml), and look at the right of the web page, you'll see the link to prometric website, with the following text: Register for an IBM Certification test at Prometric and take a step into your future.)

It costs 10 USD to get an evaluation of your knowledge.

Hi I wrote the exam today and passed ... :)
I wated to know if I would receive any certificate apart from the email that I got from PROMETRIC stating my score and the test result.

I did not receive an actual paper certificate, but I did receive an informational email from IBM about the certification along with a pdf file of the actual certificate.  Not sure if this still happens, my certification was in 2004.

Here are the instructions to request a PDF certificate.

Please follow these instructions to receive your certificate:

Register on the Member Site at www.ibm.com/certify/memberinfo.shtml
Sign the certification agreement
Obtain your certificate: select "Request e-Certificate"

Your pdf certificate will be sent to the email address listed on your IBM profile within 2 business days.  You may also make changes to your
Address Information on the Member Site.

You would need your prometric test ID to register.
Additionally you may also request a paper certificate from the same website.
It costs approximately $6 plus courier charges.
